Due to visa, permit and weather reasons we’ve researched and planned our Himalaya trip far more than any previous journeys. These plans will probably change beyond all recognition (especially when we find out whether we enjoy pushing our bikes on trekking routes), but for what it’s worth here is the route we’re considering taking from July 2012 – March 2013. The blue lines are where we can cycle on roads, the red lines are trekking routes. We’re only planning on taking our bikes on a few of the Indian trekking routes.
